Cass River Homebrew Club

The Cass River Homebrew Club is based in the Frankenmuth, Saginaw, Flint, Bay City and Midland area of Michigan and it began in 1986. CRHBC was founded by Fred Scheer and Jeff Hervert and the club originally held meetings at the Frankentrost Pub which, unfortunately, burned down in 2005. The club has members from Bay, Saginaw and Tuscola Counties and also from Flint, Mt. Pleasant and Port Huron. The club holds monthly meetings on the first Friday of the month at 7 pm. Many meetings are held at various locations and at member's homes.

Cass River Homebrew Club holds homebrewing demonstrations throughout the year and members gather to brew at their homes as well as share brewing knowledge over internet through the club's website, or their Facebook group. Members are always willing to give one another advice on techniques.

CRHBC organizes and runs the annual Homebrew at the W.E.B. competition, in each March, which has entries from multiple states and continues to grow every year. The competition is held in Frankenmuth, Michigan each year. The club also holds a semi-annual trips to brew pubs throughout the state.
